Requesting An Inspection

Our office is located near Palm Springs, California. We regularly service all of Southern California and provide service to Nevada and Arizona.

No two inspections are identical. Each individual inspection has its own unique issues and characteristics. Therefore, it is not possible to provide one price that will apply to all inspections. For example, a home with 1,000 square feet of wrinkled carpet located within 50 miles of our office will be priced differently than 15,000 square feet of buckled hardwood flooring in a convention center located 300 miles from our office.

We provide unbiased and professional inspection and consultation services. You have invested thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of dollars in your flooring. Our only business is inspection and consultation. Our pricing is based on the size of the installation, complexity of the issue or issues, and location.

Some inspections we perform may require only a verbal analysis of the issue and no written report or photos may be required. Other complex inspections that could result in arbitration or litigation may require many written pages of analysis and numerous photos. The complexity of our reports will have a bearing on the pricing.

Our completed inspection reports with photos are submitted electronically. We can supply hard copies of the report and any requested photos. If you have other specific requirements for submitting the report, please contact our office and we will be happy to work with you.

A retainer in the amount of the inspection fee is required prior to the inspection. We accept most major credit cards and checks drawn on U.S. banks.

To give you an accurate quote for the inspection we will need specific details including the following:

  • Type of floorcovering
  • Residential or commercial
  • Quantity in square feet or yards
  • When it was installed
  • What the issue is or what the issues are

  • What the issue is or what the issues are

  • When the problems were first noticed
  • Manufacturer
  • Type of installation
  • Manufacturer of glue or underlayment
